I came here with my fiancée for dinner and the food was really good! They weren't busy, so we were sat right away. I am not a huge sushi fan, so I got the avocado roll and the spicy tofu salad. They were both tasty! My fiancée got the fatty salmon nigiri, salmon roll, and tuna roll. He really liked them as well! The food cam out quick, was reasonably priced, and the service was good. I really enjoy casual spots that still serve delicious food!!

The construction on McKnight Rd made it difficult for me to get to, but the quality of food was good and the staff attentive.

Generally it mimic the Katsudon very well, but less detail about the food and drink. Carrot is not cooked well and dish is too small compared to the portion and green tea has so much powder inside.

Wonderful lunch at Sushi Tomo. Excellent, attentive, kind service by Taryn . Delicious Bento Box lunch. California Roll, Gyoza, Chicken Katsu, rice, and choice of soup or salad. I will definitely be back for dinner. The extensive menu looks absolutely amazing.

I've been going to Sushi Tomo since the 80's. The sushi is my favorite, but so many other choices. Sushi, sashimi. Teriyaki. Etc. Godzilla roll is my favorite. The owners installed new windows, makes the place brighter. This is my go to place!

This restaurant has an outstanding quality for all of their dishes with quick service and a modern yet obviously asian environment. The only thing that isnt super up to standard is their sushi which I would put at a 7/10. The soy sauce they use is also extremely salty so it sometimes overpowers the sushi flavors. All of the meals though are genuinely phenomenal and will recommend the Katsu Curry.

We've been going to Sushi Tomo for YEARS.. they honestly have upgraded their sushi over the past couple of years and it's delicious! They have multiple types of Toro that rivals Gi-Jin! My favorite is the Copper River salmon when they get it in for a few weeks a year ..yum! they always invent new rolls that are large and fresh..and we love their ginger dressing on the salad. They are always consistent with their fresh fish and the servers are always so friendly and on top of it. They also have special tastings through the year which are so fun! If you haven't tried out this true gem on McKnight Road..get going!

4.5 stars overall. Sushi Tomo is a casual restaurant that serves mostly Japanese food and some Chinese food. This restaurant has operated in the North Hills for over 20 years, and I have driven past it probably thousands of times, but I only recently ate at this resturant for the first time! The menu lists appetizers such as crab rangoon and gyoza and entrees such as teriyaki, sushi, fried rice, udon, and ramen. Prices are ~$11-19 per entree. When my husband and I entered the restaurant, an employee immediately greeted us and told us to sit at any table. Another employee soon came to give us menus and to take our order for foods and beverages. During the service, the employee refilled our glasses of water. At the end of the meal, the employee boxed my leftover food and thanked us for visiting. Here are my reviews for the foods: Korean vegetable pancake - 5 stars - I am not sure of the exact ingredients, but my husband and I greatly enjoyed the flavors of this appetizer. Tuna tataki - 4.5 stars - The employee did not bring out this appetizer until after our entrees were brought out, so we wondered if she had forgotten about it. She did apologize. My husband said that this tuna was very fresh and had a delicious ponzu sauce. Bento box - 4 stars - I ordered shrimp tempura, which also came with vegetable tempura, maki sushi, nigiri sushi, white rice, soup, and salads. All of these foods were fresh and flavorful. Chicken katsu - 4.5 stars - The chicken katsu had large pieces of juicy chicken that was nicely breaded. On the side was Japanese curry with white rice. My husband said that he liked this food so much that he wants to return to this restaurant in the future! The total price for our meal was $63 plus a tip. Our only complaint is that pulling into and out of the parking lot from the busy road is a little challenging.
